Strategic Communications Intern, University of Kentucky

  • Collaboratively manage the Kentucky men's basketball and football social accounts.

  • Providing real-time coverage during football and men's basketball, including live-tweeting, posting updates, and sharing behind-the-scenes content to keep fans informed and engaged.

  • Cut in-game football and men's basketball highlights and posted on all Kentucky football and men's basketball social media platforms.

  • During the 2023-2024 men's basketball season we ranked number 1 in the country in engagements and number of posts.

  • Create engaging and eye-capturing TikToks to post onto the Kentucky men's basketball account.

  • Learn Social Media literacy by studying the algorithms and analytics.

  • In my first 1,500 posts across Instagram, X (Twitter), and TikTok I have maintained a 22% engagement rate, with over 29 million impressions.

  • Increased TikTok following by 65% in 8 months.

  • Worked collaboratively with influential personalities and esteemed entities including Drake, NBA, NFL, Overtime, and The Mamba & Mambacita Foundation.

Social Media Programmer, Full Court Social

  • Developing compelling and relevant content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

  • Overseeing and maintaining our social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and messaging, and responding to comments and messages promptly.

  • Building and nurturing an online community around our brand by engaging with followers, initiating discussions, and fostering meaningful interactions.

  • Creating and managing a content calendar to schedule posts, promotions, and campaigns, ensuring a consistent and organized online presence.

  • Collaborating with marketing and creative teams to plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive user engagement and growth.

  • Conducting market research to understand our target audience's preferences, behavior, and trends, and incorporating these insights into our social media strategies.

Sports Marketing Intern, University of Kentucky

  • Lead the production team in regular season and NCAA tournament Soccer matches.

  • Enhanced the fan experience for crowds of 20,000-60,000 fans at Men's Basketball and Football.

  • Execute promotions at Men's Basketball games to carry out sponsorships creatively.

  • Assist in preparation for giveaways and sponsor activation in weekly office hours including seasonal mailing.

  • Lead production intern for Track and Field and Swim and Dive events. 

  • Manage giveaways at Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Softball, and Baseball.

  • Lead the National Anthem production at Men's and Women's Basketball games.
